By registering, creating or managing a profile, purchasing a membership, or otherwise using WeMatri, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use WeMatri.

1. About WeMatri

WeMatri.com is an online matrimonial platform designed to help individuals and families discover and communicate with prospective life partners.

WeMatri provides technology, profile discovery, search, matching, communication, and related matrimonial services. Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular service, WeMatri does not act as a legal representative, guarantor, or agent of its members.

WeMatri does not guarantee that use of the platform will result in a match, relationship, engagement, or marriage.

2. Eligibility

You may register with WeMatri only if you are legally eligible to use matrimonial services and marry under the laws applicable to you.

By creating an account, you confirm that:

  • You are genuinely using the platform for matrimonial purposes.

3. Account Registration

Providing intentionally false, misleading, fraudulent, or materially inaccurate information may result in restriction, suspension, or termination of your account.

4. Profiles Created by Family Members

A profile may be created or managed by a parent, guardian, sibling, relative, or another authorized person where permitted by WeMatri.

If you create or manage a matrimonial profile for another individual, you confirm that you have appropriate permission or authority to provide their information and manage their profile.

You must not knowingly create a matrimonial profile for another individual without appropriate authorization.

5. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, OTP, login credentials, and other account authentication information.

You must notify WeMatri promptly if you believe that your account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.

Never disclose your password or OTP to another member.

6. Genuine Matrimonial Purpose

WeMatri is intended primarily for people genuinely seeking matrimonial relationships.

Users must not use WeMatri for:

  • Fraud or scams
  • Escort services
  • Sexual solicitation
  • Prostitution
  • Commercial solicitation
  • Unauthorized advertising
  • Recruitment schemes
  • Investment solicitation
  • Harassment
  • Collection of member information for unauthorized purposes
  • Other illegal activities

Accounts used for prohibited purposes may be restricted or terminated.

7. User Profiles and Information

Members may provide information such as:

  • Name
  • Age or date of birth
  • Gender
  • Location
  • Nationality
  • Religion or community information
  • Marital status
  • Education
  • Occupation
  • Family information
  • Photographs
  • Personal description
  • Lifestyle information
  • Partner preferences

You are responsible for ensuring that the information submitted through your account is accurate and lawful.

8. Profile Visibility

Information included in your matrimonial profile may be visible to other eligible WeMatri members according to the functionality and privacy settings available on the platform.

You should carefully consider what information you make available through your profile.

Do not publish passwords, OTPs, banking information, credit or debit card details, government identification numbers, or other highly confidential information in your public profile.

9. Photographs and User Content

You may upload only photographs and other content that you own or have permission to use.

Content must not be:

  • Illegal
  • Fraudulent
  • Misleading
  • Obscene or sexually explicit
  • Threatening or abusive
  • Infringing on another person's rights
  • Otherwise prohibited under these Terms

WeMatri may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

10. License to Display Profile Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to WeMatri.

By uploading photographs, descriptions, profile information, or other content, you grant WeMatri a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and transmit the content as reasonably necessary to provide the matrimonial service.

This permission is subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

11. Member Communication

Depending on available functionality and membership level, WeMatri may allow users to:

  • Send matrimonial interests
  • Accept or decline interests
  • Exchange messages
  • Access permitted contact information
  • Communicate with prospective matches
  • Block members
  • Report inappropriate accounts

Users are responsible for their interactions and communications with other members.

12. Respectful Conduct

All members are expected to communicate respectfully.

The following conduct is prohibited:

  • Stalking
  • Abusive communication
  • Obscene or sexually explicit messages
  • Blackmail or extortion
  • Fraudulent requests for money

WeMatri may take appropriate action against accounts involved in such activities.

13. Profile and Identity Verification

WeMatri may provide verification features for mobile numbers, email addresses, photographs, identity, or other profile information.

However, verification does not mean that WeMatri guarantees a person's character, intentions, background, financial status, employment, education, marital status, or suitability for marriage.

Users should independently verify information that is important to their matrimonial decisions.

14. User Safety

Users should exercise reasonable care when communicating with or meeting prospective matches.

We strongly encourage users to:

  • Independently verify important information.
  • Avoid sending money to people they have only met online.
  • Never share passwords, OTPs, or banking credentials.
  • Avoid sharing unnecessary sensitive information.
  • Meet initially in an appropriate public place.
  • Inform trusted family members or friends about meetings.
  • Report suspicious behavior to WeMatri.

WeMatri provides a platform for matrimonial introductions but cannot control the behavior of every member.

15. Financial Transactions Between Members

WeMatri does not recommend sending money, loans, investments, cryptocurrency, banking credentials, or significant financial assets to another member.

Private financial arrangements or transactions between members are undertaken at their own discretion and risk.

Users should report suspicious requests for money or investments.

16. Membership Plans

WeMatri may provide free and paid membership plans.

Paid memberships may provide additional functionality such as:

  • Enhanced communication privileges
  • Contact access
  • Advanced search functionality
  • Increased profile visibility
  • Premium matrimonial features

The exact price, duration, benefits, and limitations of a membership will be displayed before purchase.

17. Payments

Users purchasing paid WeMatri services agree to pay the amount displayed during checkout.

Payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment providers.

Users must not use fraudulent, stolen, unauthorized, or otherwise unlawful payment methods.

18. Refunds and Cancellations

Payments, cancellations, and refund eligibility are governed by our Refund Policy.

Purchasing a membership does not guarantee:

  • A relationship
  • Engagement
  • Marriage

Failure to find a suitable matrimonial match does not automatically qualify a member for a refund, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

19. No Guarantee of Marriage or Compatibility

WeMatri provides technology to facilitate matrimonial discovery and communication.

Matches or recommendations may be based on profile information, search criteria, partner preferences, algorithms, or other platform functionality.

A suggested match should not be interpreted as a guarantee of compatibility or suitability for marriage.

The decision to communicate, meet, establish a relationship, become engaged, or marry remains entirely with the individuals concerned.

20. Information Provided by Other Members

Most profile information is provided directly by members or persons authorized to manage their profiles.

Although WeMatri may implement moderation, verification, security, and fraud-prevention measures, WeMatri cannot guarantee that every statement made by every member is complete or accurate.

Users should independently verify information that is material to their matrimonial decisions.

21. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

  • Create fake or fraudulent profiles.
  • Impersonate another individual.
  • Misrepresent material personal information.
  • Hack or attempt to compromise WeMatri.
  • Access another member's account without authorization.
  • Scrape or systematically collect member information.
  • Use unauthorized bots or automated software.
  • Circumvent security controls.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or malicious code.
  • Send spam.
  • Collect user information for unauthorized marketing.
  • Sell or transfer accounts.
  • Use WeMatri information to create unauthorized databases.
  • Use the platform for illegal activities.

WeMatri may take appropriate technical, account, or legal measures against misuse.

22. Reporting Members

Users may report accounts suspected of:

  • Fraud
  • Fake profiles
  • Impersonation
  • Harassment
  • Abusive communication
  • Financial scams
  • Inappropriate content
  • Unauthorized commercial activity
  • Other violations of these Terms

WeMatri may review reported accounts and take appropriate action.

Users must not intentionally submit false or malicious reports against other members.

23. Suspension and Termination

WeMatri may restrict, suspend, or terminate an account when reasonably necessary due to:

24. Account Closure and Deletion

Members may request closure or deletion of their WeMatri account through available account settings or by contacting customer support.

Deleting or closing an account does not automatically entitle a member to a refund for the unused portion of a membership.

Personal information associated with closed accounts will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

25. Privacy and Personal Information

Your use of WeMatri is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information may be collected, processed, stored, shared, protected, and deleted and describes applicable privacy rights.

26. Intellectual Property

The WeMatri name, logo, website design, software, interfaces, graphics, branding, databases, and other original proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to WeMatri and may be protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Users must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, or commercially exploit WeMatri intellectual property without authorization.

28. Service Availability

29. Limitation of Liability

  • Decisions made based on another member's representations
  • Private interactions between members
  • Rejection or discontinued communication by another member
  • Failure of a relationship or engagement
  • Failure to find a suitable matrimonial partner
  • Unauthorized conduct of another member that WeMatri could not reasonably prevent
  • Circumstances outside WeMatri's reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

30. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users may be responsible for claims, losses, or reasonable costs resulting from their unlawful use of WeMatri, material violation of these Terms, or content they upload that unlawfully infringes another person's rights.

This provision does not apply to losses caused by WeMatri's own unlawful conduct.

WeMatri may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in:
